Summary

You can use MuslimPrayTime.uk without creating an account or giving us any personal details. We only use analytics cookies if you accept them, and we never sell data.

Who is responsible

MuslimPrayTime.uk is an independent website. For any privacy question or request, email contact@muslimpraytime.uk.

What we collect

  • Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are kept for a limited time by the host.
  • Analytics (only with your consent). If you click "Accept analytics", we load Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google processes this data as described in its privacy policy. If you reject or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
  • Your location (only if you ask). The "My Location" button on the homepage uses your browser's location to find the nearest city and calculate times. The coordinates are sent to our server only to calculate the times and are not stored.
  • Emails. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.

Third parties

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers to download them. Prayer times are calculated on our own server; no third-party prayer-time service receives your data.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). In practice we hold almost no personal data; email us if you have a request.
